running

the theme continues, i am running, what feels like an obstacle ride

running to finish work related things before the inminent departure
running to preparethe ones to come
running for a smile that doesn't come
running to see those who

i won's see for a while
i haven't seen for a while
running from one country to the other
hoping the smile will come

peace marathon

1. people ran in all sorts of outfits, particularly on their feet

2. to be noted, the huge red trainers of the man in jeans, the lack of, of the man in shorts

3. quite amazingly, they also run, fully kitted as they were

4. others had terribly sporty looks (or not)

following traditions

there is new "tradition" in town, it's called 'jeudi bar' and as it name indicates its a first thursday of the month gathering in someone's house with people bringing their contributions in the form of food and drinks
there is a peace marathon in town, it's tomorrow and this being a flexible approach country, people can march or run, for an optional 5, 21 or 42 kms

there was a jeudi bar yesterday,
following traditions i had at least a couple of glasses of wine, after which
i took the decision to join the peace marathon
luckily for me, i had only had a couple so i inscribed myself for the lesser and lighter version
