i was stood up today
not only once, but three times!
by a friend, at work and by the plumber
it was raining, it was dark
and so i'll confess
i was feeling a little sorry for myself
but then, there is always a friend round the corner
who is willing to put up with your bad day
and you end up sitting by the fire
sharing wine, gossips, thoughts and a bottle of wine
and also youtube videos and fashion advice
cos tomorrow the lady has a very special event to attend
at the other side of the fat river
