today, for no particular reaons, i'm finding increasingly uphill the idea that the majority of my relations are in the written form
whether in the form of text message, chat or email, telling the world about your mood via a blog or a status update in facebook
or the telephone relationships! finding from time to time a phoneline that works or a skype conversation that goes smoothly
surely there must be other ways!
are we substituting the physical other for the online-presence other?
are we under the impression that keeping in written touch is enough?
are we becoming increasingly alienated from nuances?
are we loosing more and more details, like the ones you only discover when you actually see and talk to a person at the same time?
are we going towards an Isaac Asimov novel where machines wake up and rule the world?
am i going nuts? a simple feeling-lonely day? an epiphany-like moment?
